
Our distinguished speaker for June was Mr. Od Jambaljamts, the President of MCS Group. Mr. Od captivated the audience with a discussion on business leadership and the importance of corporate social responsibility.
With over 20 years of experience in both the private and public sector, Mr. Od has extensive experience working with companies in a variety of fields. He also works in the Royal Danish Consul in Mongolia, a member of the National Consul of the Pacific Economic Council, and is a board member of the Osazawa Foundation as well as the Ulaanbaatar City Chamber. He has been Non-Executive Director of Mongolian Mining Corporation since July, 2012 and serves as Director for a number of subsidiaries within the MCS Group. Mr. Od was awarded the Honorary Labor Medal of Mongolia in 1997, and has twice been awarded with Polestar Medal of Mongolia. Over three hundred alumni and young leaders of Mongolia turned out to hear Mr. Od share his career experiences and discuss ways in which corporations can enhance their business leadership through social responsibility.
