Beginning at 0600 on January 14 until at least 2300 on January 16, the Bayanzurkh District Emergency Committee ordered the complete control of all movement into and out of Khoroo 17 of Bayanzurkh District, commonly known as Shar Khad area. Only emergency personnel will be permitted to transit this area until the enhanced restriction is lifted. The area has been rated with high risk of infection. Residents living in this area are being tested for COVID-19. Only supermarkets, pharmacies and hospitals are permitted to operate as all other activities are restricted.
The Bayangol District Emergency Committee also ordered similar restrictions among 20 apartments of Khoroo 4 of the district effective January 14-15. COVID-19 testing will be conducted among residents of this area. Other parts of District 4 will not be impacted by these restrictions.
