Ambassador Jennifer Zimdahl Galt met with President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj and presented her credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Mongolia. The credentialing ceremony took place on October 5, 2015 at Government House in Ulaanbaatar.
At 11:40 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015, the new Ambassador of the United States to Mongolia, Jennifer Zimdahl Galt, presented her credentials to the President of Mongolia.
The ceremony began with an honor guard presentation on Sukhbaatar Square in front of Government House.
Afterwards, Ambassador Galt paid her respect to the statue of Chinggis Khaan.
Ambassador Galt then met with the President of Mongolia.

After the ceremony, two sides held a meeting. At the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren, President’s Chief of Staff P.Tsagaan, Political Section Chief at the U.S. Embassy Colleen Crenwelge and Defense Attaché at the U.S. Embassy Matthew Kent were present.
