Last week, a new study group taking an entrepreneurship MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) started at the American Cultural and Information Center.

Led by Peace Corps Volunteer Mr. Mark Dvorak, the group is to meet every Thursday to discuss the course offered by Udacity, “How to Build a Startup.” Last Thursday at their first meeting, Mr. Dvorak made the course introduction and went over the basics of a MOOC course.

The U.S. Department of State is committed to identifying new models that offer broad learning opportunities, help meet the aspirations of young people around the world, and offer skills and knowledge that they can use to succeed in life. MOOCs Camps do exactly that – all the while offering students a chance to test-drive a U.S. higher education experience.

It’s not too late to join – if you want to be a part of this study group, contact the American corner via their facebook page or call 70115703.
