In collaboration with the Arts Council of Mongolia (ACM), the U.S. Embassy Ulaanbaatar presents the Northwest Dance Project (NWDP) through the Department of State’s Arts Envoy Program.

This event brings professional artists from the U.S. to promote awareness of cultural diversity and expand international cooperation in the art and cultural sectors. Northwest Dance Project was founded in 2004 by acclaimed dancer, mentor and choreographer Sarah Slipper. The dance troupe is dedicated to the creation and performance of innovative and contemporary new works. NWDP has fostered the creation and premiere of over 175 original contemporary works to date.
