As a part of the site visit, the APAO also conducted monitoring of the American Corner Program at the Khovd Public Library as well as the English Access Micro-scholarship program implemented by the Bat Gerelt Guur NGO.
In addition to the programs monitoring, Mr. Wyckoff held meetings with local Education and Cultural Department’s TEFL specialists and Embassy-initiated English Teaching Mentorship Program alumni as well as other State Alumni residing in the Khovd City. Lastly, through public talks and a training on NGO Management Best Practices in the U.S., PAS reached to over 150 individuals.
Joining the trip EducationUSA-Mongolia Program Advisor Mr. Angar Batsaikhan held seven presentations to local secondary school as well as university students on study in the U.S. and reached nearly 500 individuals in total.
